  Title: "Ribs" Genre: Alternative Pop Concept: The music video for "Ribs" by Lorde centers around the fleeting nature of youth, nostalgia, and the passage of time. The visual treatment captures the essence of the song, exploring themes of longing, freedom, and the bittersweet moments that define our youth. Setting: The video transitions between various settings that reflect the emotional journey of the protagonist, capturing both intimate and expansive scenes. The lighting is moody, with a focus on contrasting shadows to amplify the emotional depth. Visual Treatment: 0:37 - 0:48: Shots of different-colored lights shining, mirroring the hues of the lyrics. Visuals synchronize with the rhythm of the music. 0:48 - 1:02: Two friends, perhaps a mix of memories and present, lean on each other.   making  stoy board was a daunting task, As a producer for the assurity of  my shot sequence, I planned to make the story board my self. for the better visuals I used canva for making the graphic story board.   The experience of making a story board of a music video was quite different than of the film opening of the last year, also I am sure the sequence of scenes has to be decided in post production time. So I made the storyboard as per my imagination of scene sequence.

  Costume The costumes for the music video are different for different time time zones we would be representing.  The flashbacks of childhood would be represented  in soft pastel coloured cardigans, jeans and dresses. her friends costume would consist of the same light colors but different style as she is seen as a hijabi so more modest dresses would be better. The sad part of the music video would be shot with Haya wearing more dark clothes.Like blackand white, brown clothes. Props The props for this music video are also simple; board games, journals, blankets, a birthday cake ,ribbon, books and a bookshelf, shawl and other minimal props that are readily available at Aiman's house. These props would be used to show intimacy between the two friends, showing how close they were .

  We intend to shoot most of the shots indoors and in Aiman's house, so there is no ordeal of security or permission issues.  The only outdoor shot is one on the road, and we can do it outside of Aiman's house as there is little to no traffic and it is convenient.  There would be few balcony shots, the balcony is fenced so there would be no such risk. Secondly we would be under Aiman's mother supervision so the risk of accidently slipping away are low.
