Introduction

hello, it's Zuha Imman again, after having great success in AS's journey of making short film opening I am on cloud nine for the a2's journey which is about to begin. A2 has started and media studies have become even more interesting. This year we have to  shoot a music video, and the thought of putting a bunch of my ideas together for this project is already overwhelming. The experience I got from AS would greatly help me this year, as it would be less challenging to give life to my ideas and create a music promotion package and digi pak for my music video artist. However, I am really excited about this journey of shooting my music video.

CCR Questions

QUESTION1: How do your products represent social groups or issues? The two main social group represented in our music video are age and gender. Stereotypically girls are shown as more emotional and reliant on other people. Similarly, the social issue of deep emotional attachment to one and then getting abandoned by them, was showcased in our music video but in a friendship bond. The music video shows Haya (The artist) having flashbacks of her valued moments with her friend, describing their deep and intricate bond. Thus, when Haya and her friend become distanced, she is shown to be in deep pain while reminiscing her memories with her friend. We portrayed this social issue of dependence on the peer circle in teenagers as they are shown as easily influenced by their surroundings, in the media like Cady in Mean Girls but the positive essence that this music video holds prevents it from completely falling into this category. This shows how teenagers are emotionally sensitive. T...

Interaction and engagement strategies on SM page

Image
We've applied multiple engagement strategies; firstly we put a story putting polls for the release date. This helped us gain an idea about the release date as per audience choice. This is a poll that helped us engage the audience with us.   We put the stories and further interacted with the audience through dms, answering the queries about the music video. We even opened the  comment section to see the audience's reaction about the release day coming close.  This is the story where we  finally released the music video on the story with  a Drive link.
